Iceland will go to the polls on Sunday to decide whether to resume talks on EU membership. In case of a “yes” win, Iceland will become the 11th country aspiring to join the bloc. Claudia Delpero looks at the states queuing up to join the bloc.

Of course I would LOVE to see the EU expand to include more European States but I am very worried about the use and abuse of the veto by illiberal democracy leaders like Orban was. I really wish that would be dealt with before expanding further. I would support a qualified majority of say, 80%. This way, we can keep moving forward.
